What a fantastic race report - I sooooo hope that my Ironman experience is like yours. It is exactly how I am picturing mine will be - trying to get as much fun, confidence and accomplishment out of it, not the hurt and pain!
I am now going to set myself the task of reading you entire journey to your Ironman day, as I just love your story. I just wish I had found your blog a while ago!!
Thanks for visiting my blog - in answer to your question, my hubby has been training with me in the cycling part - I needed someone to keep me company during cold winter rides! We have 2 kids, so both of us training for Ironman is abit impossible at the moment. One day maybe.....
After countless hours and miles of training, I did it! And I truly surprised myself. 15:09 and one of the biggest accomplishments of my life! Now what?
My husband says I think too much. But when you swim, bike, and run as slow as I do--You have a lot of time to think! And... You're late for everything. Here's life from the perspective of a midwest transplant to Colorado, living in suburbia, teaching in suburbia, and training for the event of a lifetime--Ironman.
